Volunteer Responsibilities and Impact

First Day
On your first day of Sri Lanka volunteering program, a local coordinator will take you to your placement, introduce you to the staff, and help you settle in.Weekdays
7:00 – 7:30 AM : Start your day with a tasty Sri Lankan breakfast at your host family's home.
7:45 AM : Head to your placement and begin your activities, which may include cleaning beaches and rivers, sorting waste, and spreading awareness.
12:00 PM : Break for lunch—either at your host home or with fellow volunteers.
3:00 PM : Work usually ends, giving you free time to relax, plan for the next day, or explore the local area.
