IFRE Volunteers arranges your accommodation and supervision during your volunteering programs in Bali, and you will be provided with a comfortable room in an economy hotel located in a safe and secure area for the duration of your project.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the project and has a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.

The surrounding area is safe and tranquil, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day of volunteering.

There are many rooms in the hotel, each equipped with air conditioning, television, marbled floors and wardrobes. The attached bathrooms are clean and modern with western toilets, hot and cold showers and free toiletries.

Volunteers in Bali project will share the room with other volunteers of the same gender. Family (or wife/husband) will stay in the same room. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything you might need, and Wi-Fi is of course provided free of charge.

For the convenience of our volunteers in Bali projects, the hotel also offers a car rental service and a 24/7 reception. There is also a rooftop terrace, spa, swimming pool and night club located on the premises for your enjoyment and comfort and shuttles and safety deposit boxes are available on request.

The hotel is centrally located in the area of Kuta, and thus all the necessary amenities such as restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and healthcare clinics are located nearby. The famous Kuta beach is also a mere 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, which provides you with a great place to relax and spend your free time surfing and enjoying the views, coconut in hand.

Staying in the hotel while working as a volunteer in Bali project will let you experience incredible security, comfort and luxury. The tidiness, delicious meals, all day reception, room service and spa of the hotel will make your volunteering trip to Bali all the more enjoyable.

Meals

As part of your weekly fee for your Bali volunteering trip, IFRE provides you with two meals a day (breakfast and dinner), with lunch being up to you to arrange.

For breakfast, you will receive fresh fruits, toast, eggs, tea and coffee, while Dinner will be a more traditional Balinese affair. Rice is a staple and is eaten with almost every meal, usually together with vegetables and/or tempeh/tofu.

A traditional meal is fried rice and vegetables (nasi goreng), often considered the national dish of Indonesia. Our volunteers working in Bali projects can also expect to experience other unique foods such as fried noodles and vegetables (mie goring) and mixed vegetables with satay sauce (gado gado).

It is important for volunteers not to drink tap water, as it is not safe for consumption. Purified water is however commonly available, and you can ask restaurant staff to boil your water if you feel unsure. Purified bottled water is also available at the nearby grocery store.

If you decide to eat out rather than in the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants located nearby catering to all kinds of budgets and tastes.
If you have any special dietary requirements such as being vegetarian/vegan or any kind of allergy, please inform us as soon as possible so that we can make the appropriate arrangements for your food.
