The best and most affordable IFRE one-week volunteering projects

Have you always imagined embarking on a volunteer experience abroad, but feel you don’t have the time for a long term volunteer placement?

Do you dream of dedicating time to a project overseas, but have limited vacation time, and/or money to spend on over-seas travel?

You might have imagined this adventure being longer-term, but for many, this simply isn’t feasible. The good news is that with IFRE Volunteers, you can find a meaningful, life-changing and inexpensive one-week volunteer project that can greatly benefit the local community in which you choose to work, and that fits into your schedule.

While not all projects are conducive to one-week volunteer abroad experiences , many organizations enthusiastically welcome short-term volunteers. If you have 2 weeks, check out our short term projects, as well.

But, if you have always wanted to offer your expertise and skill-set to a volunteer program abroad but are limited in the time you can offer, a one-week volunteer abroad program might be just perfect.

IFRE Volunteers specializes in affordable, one-week volunteer abroad programs in many different locations such as Nepal, India, Srilanka, Kenya, Thailand, Costa Rica, Peru, and more.

Even in just one week of volunteering abroad, you can build lasting relationships, gain a cultural insight that differs greatly from simply taking a vacation, and makes a real impact within a community in need.
