Summer Program in Thailand

Thailand is a very beautiful country and makes for the perfect holiday destination. If you choose to be a part of an the project, not only you will get to explore new places, but you will also be able to be a part of either an elephant or a constructing project.

For the elephant project you will be providing basic care, love and treatment of the elephants. Or, if you opt to be a part of the construction project, you will have to perform some physical tasks to help the construction of an orphanage.

Organic Farming in Costa Rica

Organic farming is beneficial to both the environment as well as personal health. Most of the coffee farmers in Costa Rica have begun to realize the importance of sustainable and organic farming. They tend to use less chemicals in comparison to other farmers and are willing to provide customers with organic products.

By being a part of the summer volunteer project for high school students, you will be working alongside the farmers  teaching them new farming alternatives. Sea Turtle Project in Mexico

Due to the alteration and destruction of the habitats, incidental capture, recreational and commercial fisheries, and entanglement in marine debris, sea turtles in Mexico are becoming endangered. The population has been in danger for over 25 years now requiring rehabilitation.

For securing a safe environment to live, these turtles need your help. By joining the international summer volunteering project for high school students, you will be helping the sea turtles by preserving their habitat, educating people, and various other aspects.

Your contribution to this project not only helps protecting their existence  but also ensures their safety for  days to come. To volunteer in the Turtle Conservation Project in Mexico you don’t need to be a biologist or a student of marine biology, as anyone with the desire to contribute to the project are welcomed.

Volunteers are recommended to have a basic understanding of Spanish  as it makes communication easier.

Monk Teaching Project in Thailand

Thailand is a country with around thirty thousand Buddhist temples. The majority of these temples offer educational opportunities for  local children who cannot afford  private education. The temples  run from donations, which is why affording good teachers  becomes difficult.

The  children are deprived of the quality education required to be competent enough to create a better future.

The summer international volunteering program in Thailand is dedicated to teach the monks, and offers you a great opportunity to share your knowledge and help children excel. You don’t need to have prior teaching experience to be a part of this project; however, fluency in English is a must.

During the project you will work with the school for around 4-5 hours a day. You will be  teaching conversational and practical English, as well as things related to health and hygiene, various life skills and assisting the school in  administrative tasks.

HIV/Aids Project in Ghana

Struck by  serious health issues caused by HIV/AIDS, hundreds of adults as well as children in Ghana are infected and  dying every year. Despite the severe nature of the illness, the government  isn’t helping the citizens overcome the problem.

Therefore, by getting associated as a high school student volunteer for the summer program, you will be able to help create necessary awareness so that other people won’t  get victimized by the traumatizing virus.

As a volunteer, you will work with  community groups and local organizations to educate people about preventive measures for HIV/AIDS. You will mostly be involved with counseling and making people aware to help stop the disease from spreading further.
