Whatever you are interested in there will be several programs you can join. If you are thinking about volunteering during the summer take a look at these 10 best volunteer opportunities.

Galapagos Conservation Program (San Cristobal Island, Galapagos)-Ecuador

Much conservation work is undertaken on the stunning Galapagos islands, and Galapagos volunteer abroad summer students get to help with many things, including maintenance and reforestation work against a backdrop of outstanding natural beauty.

Volunteers are also encouraged to develop and run their own projects based on personal interests.

Women Empowerment Project (Jaipur)-India

HIV/AIDS Project in Uganda (Kampala)-Uganda

IFRE Volunteers offer a Uganda volunteer abroad summer students program to young people interested in helping those living with, or at risk from, HIV and AIDS. In Uganda this is a real risk, so your work on this project could involve education, awareness raising, counseling and organizing support supplies.
