The Jim Corbett National Park is home to a very wide variety of animals including predators and prey. This park is a refuge for many big cats (tigers, leopards, jungle cats, fishing cats) and the animals they hunt (various deer species, wild boar, and other smaller animals). There are Sloth bears and Black bears in different regions along with wild dogs and Jackals as well. The enormous elephants here are part of the main attraction as well as the different crocodiles by the Ramganga River. Two animals that can be found in all parts of the park are the Langur and Rhesus monkeys. These monkeys provide warning or all the wildlife in the park by screaming their loud alarm calls whenever a tiger or leopard is spotted in the treetops.
