How do I communicate with my family? IFRE staffs? Is there internet?
Volunteers are requested to bring their UNLOCKED mobile phones. Upon arrival in Thailand , participants can purchase and change SIM cards and use it. This is the perfect way to stay in touch with your family and IFRE's offices in Bangkok .
Internet cafés are available in most areas of Bangkok . But if you are placed in a rural setting, you may have to travel to a village with an internet café. You will receive this information in your personal placement sheet.
