Field Support and supervision

How IFRE helps me when I am in the field? How can I maintain communication? Do you visit me?

Once the volunteer program starts, our local staff will stay in touch with volunteers. In Tanzania , our projects are nearly 40-50 KM from our office (and mostly located in rural setting outside of the high way). So it would be hard for our coordinator to visit volunteers every 7-14days. However, our coordinator stays in touch with volunteers by telephone or email. The director of each project will be your immediate supervisor we have discussed this issue with each project director and they were agreed. Our coordinator is available to you, at our offices, for your entire trip. You are welcome there anytime, you will be introduced to this location at arrival into Dar. Our Tanzania coordinator maintains a 24/7 mobile phone so you can call him at any time with your questions and concerns.
