How long has IFRE been working in Sri Lanka ? Whom do you work with? Where are you located? What are IFRE's programs?
In Sri Lanka we have been running our volunteer programs for the last 2 years. We are presently focusing on work in orphanages, teaching English, teaching Buddhist monk, turtle conservation, elephant orphanage, elephant and leopard study, and migratory bird study to offer meaningful plac em ent for our volunteers in Sri Lanka .
IFRE has a small office in Galle , a small tourist town famous for its beautiful beaches and nature. We run our first week of orientation in the Galle . Galle has internet, bank, and recreational areas. Most of our volunteer projects in Sri Lanka are within 20 KM radius of our office allowing us the opportunity to help our volunteers whenever it is needed. However, elephant orphanage, bird, and leopard projects are far from our office.
The mission of IFRE Volunteers is to offer the most affordable as well as the highest quality volunteer and humanitarian abroad experiences - enabling us to make a contribution for all of humanity in its quest to make the world a better place. Through our volunteer and humanitarian trips abroad, we aim to spread love and compassion worldwide while improving the lives of destitute children and less-fortunate communities. We at IFRE also seek sustainable solutions in the fields of education, healthcare, conservation efforts and development issues through international volunteering.
