SOUTH AFRICA - Passport (minimum validity of six months), onward/return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds required.  Passports must contain at least two blank visa pages. Unless you're traveling on a UK passport, people coming to South Africa to do volunteer work need to get a work permit. Applications for these should be made through the South African embassy or consulate in your home country; processing usually takes one month.
