Visa
SOUTH AFRICA - Passport (minimum validity of six months), onward/return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds required. Passports must contain at least two blank visa pages. Tourist or business visa not required for stay of up to 90 days. HIV test required for all mine workers; U.S. test sometimes accepted. Unless you're traveling on a UK passport, people coming to South Africa to do volunteer work need to get a work permit. Applications for these should be made through the South African embassy or consulate in your home country; processing usually takes one month.
