About India volunteer program (In General)
How long has IFRE been working in India ? Whom do you work with? Where are you located? What are IFRE program?
In India , IFRE has been running volunteer programs for the last 2 years. Each month, IFRE sends between 3-5 volunteers to India . IFRE is currently focusing on 4 major volunteer service projects in India (work in an orphanage, teaching English, health, AIDS/HIV, and women development projects). IFRE works with many local NGOs, orphanages, and community projects to offer meaningful placements for our volunteers.
IFRE has set up an office in Guan Gao, a growing metropolitan area near to Delhi, offering a 4-bedroom apartment where volunteers stay during the cultural and language training program. Accessible via local transportation, the office is located near attractions such as the famous mall of Delhi, internet cafés, McDonald's as well as an assortment of other wonderfully-interesting, Indian and western restaurants.
