IFRE's volunteer projects in Ecuador are located all over Ecuador – Quito , Machachi, Latacunga, Puerto Lopez, Mindo, the Amazon Rainforests and the prismatic Galapagos Islands . Our Volunteer in Ecuador programs offer unique opportunities to serve humanity while simultaneously exploring the spectacular diversity of wildlife and marine life all contained within the bountiful borders of Ecuador . IFRE works with a number of altruistic organizations throughout Ecuador , including: NGOs, government-funded programs, educational organizations, healthcare providers, conservationists, etc. Volunteers programs offered by IFRE in Ecuador include: orphanages, street children/children at-risk, various English-teaching programs, healthcare, HIV/AIDS, nature conservation (within a number of national parks), wildlife conservation, animals care as well as veterinary medicine.
