About Costa Rica volunteer program (In General)

How long has IFRE been working in Costa Rica ? Whom do you work with? Where are you located? What are IFRE's programs?

We have been running our volunteer program in Costa Rica for nearly two years. In Costa Rica , we are working with many orphanages, schools, local NGOs, Health centers, and community organizations. Our program in Costa Rica is located in Atenas, a small beautiful city 30 miles (about an hour by bus) from San Jose .

IFRE is able to offer volunteer projects working in orphanages, in public health, in public day care, teaching English, food bank project, work in organic farming, and environmental/agricultural conservation. One special features of IFRE Costa Rica program is free group Spanish language lesson (2 hours a day up to 3 months). You will take Spanish lessons while working as a volunteer in any projects of your choice.
