Room and Food

Where do I stay during my volunteering program? What do I eat? What about shower and restroom facilities? Do you accommodate special diets?

IFRE manages living accommodations and meals within volunteer hostel for the entire duration of the volunteer program. IFRE arranges clean, simply-furnished, shared rooms. Volunteers are suggested to bring a sleeping bag and their own bed sheets. Volunteers will receive three (3) local meals each day Occasionally, volunteers will also be required to prepare/serve their own meals

Except vegetarian diets, we do not serve special meals. If you will be out of the house during lunchtime, you can request a lunch "to go" that you can take with you or eat out on your own. we provide typical meals that are traditional to Brazil . We try to do their best with vegetarian options, but you must clarify any special needs ahead of placement/arrival in-country.
