Voluntary organizations conduct different volunteer programs to offer free service to different other organizations. These organizations require volunteers to help them to conduct different volunteer programs. Each voluntary organization is unique. They follow different agendas to conduct different volunteer programs. Almost majority of them charge a nominal fee from the volunteers. They do so because they often fall short of funds. They completely depend on the international volunteers and funds to organize programs. The fees are basically for different reasons:

• to cater to the administrative costs of the volunteers.
Despite the shortage of fund and other constraints the voluntary organizations keeps conducting different volunteer programs and offering opportunity for different volunteers.

Many of you may want to be volunteers but often move back from participating in a volunteer program for the scarcity of time and conveniences. Here are some family volunteering opportunities for you:

• Make meal for the destitute children: In your day to day activity, young children can help in washing, shopping, mixing and the simple activities. Take up a more complex responsibility if you are a bit older. Prepare the meal for those orphaned children. This way you can sit at home and work as an orphan volunteer. You can save your time yet serve your purpose of working as a volunteer.

• Clean up your neighborhood: Make your atmosphere clean and tidy. If there is trash in your bloc or at the local park, clean them. Wear a protective pair of gloves and volunteer to clean up your atmosphere. It will not take much time.

• Participate in the box project: Send a box full of school accessories, clothes, food and other essential times to any poor family in the rural areas. There are different volunteer organizations who conduct such volunteer programs. Contact them and do the needful. You can try to search for such institutions on the net. You may also consult your friends, relatives and acquaintances about such volunteer programs.

• Organize a backyard carnival: Organize a carnival at you house and invite some destitute children from your locality. Arrange for interesting events, delicious food, games and in the party so that those children can enjoy.

Different interesting volunteer programs are organized by different organizations. If you have lesser time opt for summer volunteer program, it will help you to enrich your knowledge and gain more confidence. Such experiences will also help you to develop your communication skills.
